Circle BMI Mount Alvernia Hospital is offering a new Executive Health Screening and 'Worried Well' service using its 128 slice CT scanner and upgraded cardiac software.  This powerful permanent fixed facility Siemens scanner is available daily Monday-Friday between 8am-8pm and operated by specialist scanning radiography staff.

These techniques provide high quality heart imaging as an alternative to invasive coronary angiography and direct optical colonoscopy, with fewer risks and are performed under the direct supervision of specialist radiologists.

All scans are fully reported and images and reports can be provided to your own GP or chosen specialist including cardiologists, gastroenterologists and colorectal specialists.

The hospital offers some of the most competitive pricing in Surrey & The South East and considerably less than most London imaging centres obviating the need to travel to the capital.

Pricing Structure

Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC) Score Heart Scan £250.00
CT Coronary Angiography (CTCA) Heart Scan £800.00
CT Pulmonary Angiography (CTPA) Lung Scan £750.00

CT Colonography (Virtual Colonoscopy) £650.00

*For cardiac imaging, CT scanning is ideally performed on a 128 slice CT scanner or above with dedicated cardiac software - both requirements are usually declared by the facility but patients are entitled to ask.

These types of scan are best performed in a dedicated facility with immediate access to medical doctors and anaesthetists, should immediate supportive therapy or even resuscitation be required (rare but essential in the unlikely event).
